Placing an Order

Completing the online order form does not confirm an agreed order. It is only when you make full payment and approve the PDF design (that will be sent to you via email) is when your order will be confirmed.

The PDF design is produced in black and white to show the layout of design. Due to the technical limitations of computer display screens we do not produce coloured versions as they will not give an accurate representation of the ribbon and print colour combinations.

Care for your ribbon

Print

The standard print on our satin ribbons will not be effected under normal handling but is not scratch or water proof. Please be advised that too much handling or rubbing i.e. retying of knots or bows, will effect the print.

We do hold washable print colours in black, red, green and blue.

Avoid fraying of your ribbon

The satin ribbon we use for printing is more resistant to fraying than normal satin ribbon but we always recommend using a sharp pair of dress making scissors when cutting as this will minimise any fraying. Other techniques are to heat seal the end of the ribbon or use products called Fray Check and Fray Block.

25 metre reel lengths

Centring the text on a reel may take between 50-100cm so please be aware that there may be a shortfall of this amount on each 25 metre reels.

Print Colours

Not all print colours produce the expected result on all the ribbon colours. Generally this is dark print colours on dark ribbon colours, or vice versa. Where we feel appropriate we will add a warning message on to the design proof if the print and ribbon combination chosen will not produce the desired result.

We cannot be held responsible if the print colour isn’t as you imagined.

Payment Conditions

Full payment is required before printing can commence. As this is a personalised product no refunds or cancellations are available after payment has been received. Please ensure you check the design proof thoroughly before making payment for your ribbon design.  

Delivery Information

Your ribbon will be dispatched by Royal Mail First Class delivery for 10 metre orders, Royal Mail Signed For delivery for orders of 25 - 100 metres and Royal Mail Special Delivery/courier delivery for orders 125 metres and over. These delivery methods can require a signature and you may need to collect your ribbon from your local depot if it cannot be delivered on the first attempt. Creative Ribbon is not liable for any compensation in the unlikely event that your ribbon being lost or delayed in the post.
